Potrerito

San Juan Province, Argentina

Location

The “Potrerito” Project is located in the “Cordillera Frontal”, about 35km northwest of the town of Calingasta, Province of San Juan. It is an area of 9,000 hectares of grassroot type, with potential for the discovery of “Epithermal” deposits. ”.The Project is located immediately next to the Casposo Project, just 2km from its “Julieta” Prospect.

So far there is only one prospective survey (of a few days), in some sectors of the project; made by the company Intrepid Minerals, in 2005.

The access from the town of Calingasta is towards the north by about 14km of paved road; then west on a dirt road for about 15 km to the Casposo Mine; and then from there, for about 20km of dirt road (in blue in picture) you can reach the "eastern" edge of the "Potrerito" project.

MINERALIZATION POTRERITO Project

In the litlle prospecting of the area, a central target called "Calabozo Qz-calcite-veins" has been identified. Added to this are the 2 old Au + Ag + base metal mines, called: “Don Bosco” and “Mal Paso”; this, forming part of the "Potrerito" Project.

GEOCHEMISTRY POTRERITO Project

Only 15 rock samples have been extracted in the entire area; one of them is anomalous with 1.4ppm Au.

IP GEOPHISIC – Resistivity in “Manantiales” Project

In the following image in the confluence area of the “Potrerito”, “Casposo” and “Manantiales” Projects; In the IP-Resistivity geophysics, carried out in the last one, some important resistive zones are observed forming part of the different project targets; and in some cases, these anomalies seem to continue towards the west or northwest, within the “Potrerito” project.

Extracted from the public report of the company "Elements Limited" (from the year 2012), who operated the "Manantiales" Project.

The following (public) presentations of the “Casposo – Manantiales” District show an important structural corridor heading NW, which controls the different vein targets of the “Casposo” and “Manantiales” Projects. It is clearly observed that this structural corridor to the northwest appears within the “Potrerito” Project.
